We use over six times more liquid soap than bar soap in a single wash — meaning our handcrafted bars don’t just feel better, they last longer. Each one is made in small batches with rich oils and milks that cleanse gently, nourish deeply, and stay with you wash after wash.
SUSTAINABILITY
Most liquid soaps are packaged in plastic bottles, which are far less sustainable than the simple paper wraps our bar soaps come in. While there are exceptions on both sides, studies show that liquid soaps typically have a 25% higher carbon footprint than their bar counterparts.
Refill options can help reduce waste, but it’s still worth considering how those refills are produced and packaged.
Bar soaps also tend to use natural, minimally processed ingredients, especially when crafted by hand — unlike many mass-produced liquid soaps that rely on synthetic additives and preservatives.
So, while there’s no single “perfect” choice, bar soaps generally come out ahead — using cleaner ingredients, creating less waste, and offering a more sustainable way to care for your skin and the planet.
